Update: Wednesday 11:40 AM: The Grand Traverse Sheriff's Office has identified the fugitive as 46-year-old Robert Leroy Sheldon.

A fugitive from Kentucky was arrested in Mayfield Township today.
The 47-year-old man was arrested by a Grand Traverse Sheriff's Department deputy who was conducting a property check at the Fish Lake boat launch. The man was fishing and was asked to show his license. After indentifying him, he was found to be wanted by the Bullitt County Sheriff's Department in Sheperdsville, Kentucky.
The man was wanted for auto theft,, burglary and receiving and concealing stolen property. He was also driving a stolen car.
He is expected to be arraigned on Wednesday and will await extradition to Kentucky.
