CHARLEVOIX COUNTY -- 54 year old Daniel Paul Engstrom was found Tuesday morning by a canine unit in a remote area near the Lake Michigan Shoreline in Charlevoix County.
Rescue crews say Engstrom appeared to be having health issues when they found him and he was taken to McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital.
The search for Engstrom began on Monday when he called in sick for work and his wife reported him missing, his vehicle was located in the McSauba Recreational Area at North Point.
The Charlevoix County Sheriff's office, Charlevoix City and Charlevoix Township Fire departments along with Michigan State Police participated in the search.
