Nearly 2,300 Consumers Energy customers will be without power for 15 minutes Wednesday morning to allow for repairs.
Utility crews will be making repairs in the Alden substation. Customers in the area located east and west of the south end of Torch Lake and on the east shoreline on the north end of Elk Lake will be affected, as well as the villages of Alden and Rapid City.
The interruption of power will occur around 5 am Wednesday morning.
