This summer's Concert on the Lawn Series is expecting record-breaking audiences. The concerts begin Thursday July 5 and run through early September on the Grand Lawn of Grand Traverse Pavilions.
The free, hour long concerts take place at 7 pm on Thursdays throughout the summer months. Here is a list of the upcoming concerts:
July 5: Petosky Steel Drum Band
July 12: Harry Goldson Quartet
July 19: K. Jones & The Benzie Playboyz -
July 26: The Northwestern Michigan College Community Band
August 2: Jazz North and vocalist Claudia Schmidt
August 9: Ray Kamalay & His Red Hot Peppers
August 16: Bay Area Big Band
August 23: Grand Traverse Pipes & Drums
August 30: Grand Traverse Chorus of Sweet Adlines and Ensembles from the Cherry Capital Men's Chorus
September 6: Dominic Fortuna & Willy Jam
The concerts will be held at the Grand Traverse Pavilions, located between 7th and 11th Streets just off Elmwood Ave in Traverse City.
