As we prepare ourselves for the 4th of July, be sure you know where the celebrations are taking place near you. Here is a list of the parades and fireworks in the UpNorthLive area.

Petoskey:

A Parade at 6 pm which goes from Hill St. to Kalamazoo to Mitchell St. to Petoskey St. to Lake St. ending at the gazebo in Pennsylvania Park. Fireworks will be taking place at dusk over the Little Traverse Bay. For a full list of events surrounding the celebrations in Petoskey, click here.

Cheboygan:

A parade will take place at 10 am along Main Street. Fireworks will be at 10 pm. Visit the Cheboygan Area Chamber of Commerce for more information.

Charlevoix:

There will be a parade at 10:00 am down Bridge St. downtown Charlevoix.

Traverse City:

There will be fireworks at dusk over the West Bay. For more information, click here.

Leland:

Fireworks will take place at dusk on Tuesday the 3rd, while the Parade is on the 4th at 3 pm. For more information, visit the Leland Chamber blog by clicking here.

Beulah:

The Village of Beulah will have a parade at 1:30 pm and fireworks will tentatively start around 10:30 pm. The fireworks will be launched from a barge on Crystal Lake.

Cadillac:

Cadillac will host their Independence Day Celebration over the weekend of July 6-8. There will be a parade Saturday morning at 10 am and Fireworks that evening at 10:30 pm. For a full list of activities over the weekend, click here.

Manistee:

Manistee will host Fireworks at dusk on the 4th. The fireworks will be on First Beach over Lake Michigan.

Frankfort:

Frankfort will have a parade at 10 am on the 4th with Fireworks at dusk that evening.

Lake City:

Lake City will be hosting their annual Greatest 4th in the North celebration now through July 4th. Parade will take place at 10 am on Wednesday and Fireworks will be at dusk. For a full list of events, click here. 

Mackinaw City:

Mackinaw City will host the self proclaimed "largest fireworks display in Northern Michigan" at dusk over the bay. For more information, click here.

St. Ignace:

St. Ignace will host the annual Roby Goudreau Memorial Parade at 1 pm on the 4th. Fireworks will be shot off over Moran Bay at dusk, with a fireworks cruise being offered as well. For full information, click here.

Sault St. Marie:

Sault St. Marie will host a parade at 7 pm on the 4th. It will begin at the intersection of Easterday Avenue and Seymour. For more information, click here.
