TRAVERSE CITY -- A Traverse City man is behind bars for running naked at West End Beach and then hiding from police.
Police were called to the area around 4am Wednesday after someone said they saw two men fighting and that one of the men was naked. When an officer arrived he saw a naked man running by the volleyball courts. The suspect allegedly would not stop for police. He was found about an hour later near the Boardman River between Union and Hall Streets.
Police say the 26-year-old suspect was drunk at the time of his arrest.
