The summer and fall season for the National Writers Series was announced earlier today. The season includes 6 nationally renown writers and 3 guest hosts. Events will go on throughout the summer and fall at the City Opera House in Traverse City. Last year's event brought out hundreds of readers from all over Northern Michigan.
"We've just come off a sold out season in winter and spring and our new list has collectively, these are authors that have sold about 150 million books between themselves, spent years on the New York Times list and we expect another sell out season," founder Doug Stanton said.
The series will kick off July 9th and go through late November.
