TRAVERSE CITY -- UpNorthLive's Facebook Fans voted to hear more about Traverse City's local sailing program.
The Traverse Area Community Sailing Program begins June 18th on Boardman Lake.
The program teaches area youth how to race sailboats and even puts them against other racing organizations.
Organizers say it's a great way to spend the summer. They say it will teach kids self-reliance, confidence, team work and respect for the environment.
