GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY -- The Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office say that they will not arrest the man in the possible kidnapping situation.

After questioning the subject, the Sheriff's Office says that it was a "misunderstanding." The suspicious adult was a neighbor who was not trying to kidnap the 13-year-old boy.

The incident took place near the intersection of Wemple Road and Fielstra in East Bay Township at 3:15 yesterday afternoon. According to the Sheriff's Office, the man approached the young boy from his car and offered him ice cream.
