TRAVERSE CITY -- You have the chance to try some unreleased wines from some of Northern Michigan's best known wineries. Blossom Days are next weekend on Old Mission Peninsula, and while there are not many blossoms left, that's not stopping local wineries from celebrating all that our fruit trees mean to our area.

Winemakers are inviting you to stop by their tasting rooms and try some of their barrel and reserve wines.

Blossom Days will be held on May 19 and 20. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets cost $30 and include a souvenir glass and tasting at each of the seven old mission wineries. CLICK HERE to buy tickets.

There will also be a nondenominational blessing of the blossoms ceremony at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, followed by complimentary cherry pie at Chateau Chantal.
