CLARE -- Two grandparents who ran off with their granddaughter last week prompting an amber alert have been charged. William and Regina Hullihen face charges of kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment as well as conspiracy to commit those crimes. Their bonds are set at $500,000 cash.

Last Friday an amber alert was issued for the couple's granddaughter Emily Hullihen after they picked her up from school and took off. They do not have custody of her. Emily was later returned safe.

William and Regina Hullihen are the parents of Blake Hullihen, the Harrison man who shot and killed his daughter's mother and her boyfriend back in December 2011 amid a custody battle.
