TRAVERSE CITY -- It's the fastest growing singles age group in the country: people 50 years and older. 7&4 News took a close look at this trend including a couple who married during mid-life and one woman who is taking on the dating scene in her mid-50's.
We also interviewed Dr. Ann Marie Love, a psychologist in Traverse City who specializes in relationship recovery. Dr. Love says online dating is a huge trend right now for the older age group, but it's also something people need to be very honest about. Dr. Love says people need to be open minded about what they're looking for and always make sure that they are completely healed from any past relationships before they start a new one.
