TRAVERSE CITY -- Tonight the Grand Traverse County Commission Board met at the TC Governmental Center to discuss candidates for the new county administrator.
The board talked about a couple of candidates before voting 6 to 3 to offer the position to David Benda.
Benda has worked in Clinton County as the administrator for six years, and held the same position in Midland County for ten years.
The Grand Traverse County Human Resources Director will look at comparable job salaries to help decide how much to offer Benda.
The board will offer Benda the position, and wait to hear if he accepts the job.
