MONTCALM CO. -- A 20-month-old boy is in serious condition at a Grand Rapids hospital after he was found floating in a pond.

Konnor Baker was playing outside with a family member in Bushnell Township Saturday when he disappeared. He was found a short time later in the pond.

A neighbor performed CPR until paramedics arrived.  Once Konnor was in the ambulance crews attempted to resuscitate him.  The paramedic was unable to find a pulse.  Once crews arrived at the hospital they were able to get Konnor's heart restarted and he began breathing on his own.

He was then airlifted from Sheridan Community Hospital to the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids.
