MESICK -- The third graders at Mesick Elementary (Floyd M. Jewett Elementary) have a great idea for their citizenship project this year- and would love your help!

On Friday, April 20th, the students will be holding a Healthy Snack Sale. They will be selling water, juice, homemade healthy baked goods, along with other snacks.

These are the sale times and locations:

Elementary Cafeteria: 11-1

High School Commons: 10:30-12:30

High School Track Meet: 12-3 (open to public)

Elementary School Entry: 3-3:45 (open to public)

Volunteers will be alongside the students to assist.

All of the proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House in Grand Rapids. The third graders want to help the house provide a "home away from home" for families of sick kids.

The students encourage the community to help them give back, and stop at the healthy snack sale or donate to their project.

The school is located at 210 Mesick Ave. in Mesick.
