Liabenow shares, “I have enjoyed my tenure at Cadillac Area Public Schools since 1982, as a Teacher, Principal, Assistant Superintendent and most recently Superintendent. I have worked with great educators. My future plans are to continue to advocate for students in Michigan. My affiliation with MEMSPA will offer many opportunities to be a catalyst for positive change in public education.
Board of Education President, Mr. Craig Weidner shares, “We have made great strides for Cadillac Area Public School students during Paul Liabenows leadership in the district. The Board of Education appreciates the work ethic and priorities that Paul has brought to his various positions in the district over the past 30 years. His commitment to the Cadillac Community and its student population has been a great benefit and we are grateful for his time and talent through the years. Our goal is to make this time of transition smooth and be thorough in our search process as we seek a replacement.”
