TRAVERSE CITY -- The 20th annual community Easter dinner gets underway Sunday afternoon in Traverse City, but Saturday volunteers were busy preparing for the big meal.
Volunteers were unloading tables, preparing meals and getting ready to start cooking Saturday afternoon. Organizer Sandra Svec says she's expecting more than 300 people to show up to the Easter dinner Sunday.
If you're interested in attending the community dinner, it will be held at the VFW Hall, off Veteran's Drive in Traverse City. It starts at 2:30pm Sunday afternoon and runs until 4:30pm.
