MONTCALM COUNTY -- A fishing trip for three teenagers ended in tragedy Friday, after their boat sunk and one 15 year-old drowned in a Montcalm County lake.
Montcalm County Sheriff's Office responded to a boating accident on Little Whitefish Lake in Pierson Township at around 12:30am on Friday.
Three teenagers had gone out fishing but their boat sunk and only two of the three were able to swim to shore.
Authorities immediately began search efforts for the missing boy, 15 year-old Dalton Gustinis.
Sadly, his body was located at around 2:00pm Saturday afternoon in about 32 feet of water.
