A judge is sending Danelle Round back to jail for violating probation

FIFE LAKE -- A Grand Traverse County woman jailed for neglecting her horses has violated her probation.

Danelle Round was sentenced earlier this month to 14 days in jail for animal cruelty. She will now spend another 45 days behind bars, less time served.

This case began after seven sick horses were removed from Round's Fife Lake home. Two had to be euthanized and five others are still recovering.

As part of her earlier sentence the judge ordered Round to pay fines and have no contact with animals. The court could not tell us what part of her probation she violated.
