TRAVERSE CITY, MI -- Temperatures are slowly warming, a sign that spring break is on the way.

But as temperatures rise, gas prices follow, making it more expensive to plan a spring vacation.

In Monday’s Fact Finder, 7&4 News breaks down how much it will cost you to drive to popular destinations and how you can save some cash along the way.

For example, at $4 a gallon, it would cost $532 (round trip) to drive from Traverse City to Daytona Beach, Florida. That price estimate is for a car that averages 20 miles per gallon.

Click on the video above for our complete spring gas forecast and tips on how to save out on the road.

If you would like to calculate the cost of your next trip, check out this helpful link.
