New center dedicated to early childhood development

GRAND TRAVERSE CO. -- Business and education leaders across a six county region are working on an innovative project that would provide services to develop intelligent, healthy children.

It would also give working parents a helping hand.

Traverse Bay Intermediate School District Superintendent Mike Hill says the plan is to build a center that will house a world-class preschool, health care area, and offices for early childhood education development.
