INTERLOCHEN -- A man who stole at least $60,000 dollars from the Interlochen Eagles is now being ordered to pay the money back within one year.

Joseph Maloof who was a member of the Eagles club pled guilty to one charge of embezzling from a non-profit.  Benzie County Sheriff, Rory Heckman says the investigation was ongoing for about a year after the Interlochen Eagles reported a significant amount of money missing.

Benzie County Circuit Judge James Batzer is now ordering Maloof to pay the money back through monthly payments of $700 for a year.  A one year deferred sentencing will then take place to see if Maloof has repaid the full amount.
