TRAVERSE CITY, MI -- As I've been getting to know Northern Michigan, we've been asking the viewers to help out on Facebook. I've never been skiing, so we asked for the best place in the area to take my very first ski lesson. The viewers sent me to Crystal Mountain where my patient and skilled instrutor Ron Shepard had me skiing in no time. And, with the help of photojournalist Bob Rhodes, we caught it all on tape.
