CADILLAC -- A 91-year-old woman is in critical condition after deputies say she pulled in front of a bus in Wexford County.

It happened around 8:45am on M-115 and 41 Road in Cadillac.

The Wexford County Sheriff's Office said the elderly driver pulled out of her driveway and turned into the path of a bus carrying 35 children and two adults.  The bus was carrying a church group from Grand Rapids to a day of skiing at Crystal Mountain.  The driver of the bus tried to get out of the way of the car but was not able to avoid an impact. No injuries were reported on the bus.

The driver of the car was extricated by Cadillac City Fire and North Flight EMS using the Jaws of Life.  She was then air-lifted to Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
