GAYLORD -- Michigan State Police in Gaylord have recovered $48,000 in stolen cash.
The money was taken during a break-in on February 2nd at a home in Otsego County's Dover Twp.
Several guns and a safe containing $90,000-$100,000 was taken.
The main suspect was arrested after a high-speed chase, and half of the money and guns was recovered.
Since then, troopers have been searching for the remaining stolen property. Thanks to a tip from an informant at the Otsego County Jail, the money was discovered tonight- hidden in a motel room where the suspects had been staying.
Five people are now charged in this case.
