ANTRIM CO. -- A deadly accident in Antrim County Friday when a car lost control and ran head on into a semi truck.
The accident happened about a half-a-mile east of US 131 on M-32 near Elmira Friday morning.
Antrim County Sheriff Dan Bean tells us the driver of the car was heading toward Gaylord and lost control on slippery roads, hit the semi, and was killed instantly.
According to Fox 2 News in Detroit, the driver's name is Jeff Zaslow.
He is a well-known author and was in Petoskey to promote a new book.
Zaslow is also the husband to Fox 2 Anchor Sherry Margolis.
