MASON CO. -- New details are being released on the double murder investigation in Mason County.

28-year old Fernando Ramirez and 18-year old Lacey Bentley were found dead inside their mobile home near Scottville on Friday.

The Mason County Sheriff's Office says Bentley was shot eight times and Ramirez was found strangled to death.

Patrick Bentley and his girlfriend Lashawn Whipple both face five felony charges including two Open Murder charges. The pair was arrested in Kentucky on Saturday after they ran out of gas and authorities spotted them walking down the road.

Detectives do not know the motive of the crimes, but did confirm that Patrick Bentley is Lacey's brother.

We are also told that when the pair was picked up in Kentucky they had an autistic teenager with them who is now in protective custody.

It may take several weeks before the suspects are brought back to Mason County to face a judge.
