In every athlete beats the heart of a champion. But achieving your best, often takes hard work, years of practice, and maybe a little luck. Few people know that better than special olympian Beth Mayer. Beth has spent the last week honing her skills before her upcoming run at another gold! Two hour long training sessions have Beth carving the slopes and in great form, but it took more than just her efforts to make this opportunity a reality. Community members both here and in her Ohio hometown went above and beyond to make sure that Beth was able to come to where the snow is to be able to get ready for her next major challenge.
