If you are really lucky, you find a friend that you can walk down life's path with. Over the years, for many of us, the path winds, and friends come and go. Such is not the case for two Northern Michigan women. They've spent a lifetime being there for one another, where ever the path has taken them.

Leola Yankee and Marvel Lafranier just turned 90 years old, but their relationship of being best friends for one another also passed a pretty incredible milestone of 65 years. In all that time, the pair has never lived more than a mile away from each other. They have been there for each other through all of life's trials and tribulations.

Their story is one of luck, loyalty, and friendship.

Do you have a best friend story to share? Perhaps someone you would like to acknowledge for all they have done for you? Please share it with our viewers by posting a comment below.
