PETOSKEY, MI -- UpNorthLive's Facebook fans voted to hear more about Camp Daggett giving families the chance to get out and snowshoe at night.
A snowshoe event in Emmet County will let you wonder through the beautiful Northern Michigan winter for absolutely free.
Camp Daggett in Petoskey is inviting families to get outdoors this winter and strap on the snow shoes and walk a two mile path.
Torches will light the trail at the camp, which borders Walloon Lake.
"The ambiance of the torches along the trails is really cool as well, most often, when people snowshoe, they go in the daytime, but the trails are well-lit, safe, and it's just fun to experience snowshoeing in just a different time of the day," says Brent Marlatt, Executive Director at Camp Daggett.
Bearcub Outfitters sponsors this event.
Any donations will support Camp Daggett.
You can take part on January 28th and February 25th starting at 5pm.
