MANISTEE -- After an extensive land and water search, Manistee authorities have located the body of a missing man.
At around 11:30 Saturday morning, the Manistee County Dive Team and the US Coast Guard found the body of George Paul Mika of Muskegon, in the Manistee Lake near the SS City of Milwaukee.
Mika was the President of the Board of Directors for the SS City of Milwaukee and went to check on the boats late Thursday night.
Police believe that Mika fell into the water as he was trying to get off one of the boats.
Mika's body is currently being examined, to see if a possible medical issue caused him to fall into the water.
