HOWELL -- An investigation is underway after a man from Manistee County was found dead downstate, with an arrow in his chest.
Howell Police tell "WDIV Channel 4 in Detroit that 53-year-old Chris Martin Allen was found laying in the corner of a parking lot on Curzon Street.
Police say the arrow was protruding from the left-side of his chest and a cross bow was found next to his body.
The Livingston County Medical Examiner is doing an autopsy but police said they are considering Allen's death a homicide.
Allen is from the Wellston area and was staying with relatives.
