OTSEGO COUNTY -- Authorities in Otsego County are looking for the person who intentionally cut down nearly 20 trees which then blocked a busy roadway.

Deputies were called out to Tin Shanty Road, near Sawdust Pile in Charlton Township at around 3:00pm Saturday. Someone had cut down 17 large trees, ranging from 12" to 15" in diameter and they were left laying across the roadway, deeming it impassible.

The Otsego County Road Commission spent hours removing the trees and now authorities are looking for whoever did this.

If you have any information, you are asked to contact the Otsego County Sheriff's Department at (989) 731-7284.
