12 years ago Diana Fairbanks joined the 7&4 News team. A dedicated journalist committed to serving Northern Michigan, Diana quickly became a most popular and respected broadcaster. The big markets finally came a calling, and Diana has chosen to take an evening anchor position in Buffalo, New York. Reflecting on her time here, Diana says "I have never lived anywhere as long as I have lived in Traverse City. I am convinced there are few places more beautiful with people to match. I have met some of my best friends here and worked with some incredible people. However, I have a great opportunity to work for a TV station in Buffalo, NY starting at the end of January. I am excited to go, but sad to leave. I will miss northern Michigan more than I can say."
