12 years ago Diana Fairbanks joined the 7&4 News team. A dedicated journalist committed to serving Northern Michigan, Diana quickly became a most popular and respected broadcaster. The big markets finally came a calling, and Diana has chosen to take an evening anchor position in Buffalo, New York. While we wish her the best of luck, we know that she really doesn't need luck to be successful. If you would like to share your thoughts with Diana, please leave a comment below.

Reflecting on her time here, Diana says "I have never lived anywhere as long as I have lived in Traverse City. I am convinced there are few places more beautiful with people to match. I have met some of my best friends here and worked with some incredible people. However, I have a great opportunity to work for a TV station in Buffalo, NY starting at the end of January. I am excited to go, but sad to leave. I will miss northern Michigan more than I can say."
