Taking your Small Business from a Dream to a Reality

TRAVERSE CITY -- If you have always dreamed about starting your own small business, it could become a reality sooner than you thought.

SCORE is partnering with the Traverse City Area District Library to offer free mentoring and small business workshops. Starting on January 14th there will be walk-in small business mentoring at the library's main branch on Woodmere Dr. The mentoring will be held from 9am-noon on Saturdays. Seminars will include topics ranging from financing a new business to marketing and making business plans.

The workshops are free of charge and will be held in the McGuire Room from 6:30-8:30pm on the following dates: March 13th, April 10th, May 8th, June 12th, and July 10th.

SCORE is a resource partner of the small business administration and provides confidential mentoring services free of charge. There are over forty local volunteers with a broad range of experience available to help entrepreneurs.
