Joshua Unrein is accused of domestic violence at an Emmet County business.
EMMET CO. -- A Colorado man is behind bars, facing multiple charges including assault and torture.
The Emmet County Sheriff's Office was called to Wal-mart by its security staff Tuesday. The victim reported the assault to security, which had occurred the evening prior.
Joshua Unrein, 32, was arrested and charged with one count of Unlawful Imprisonment, which is a 15-year felony; one count of Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm Less than Murder, a 10-year felony; three counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, a 4-year felony and one count of Aggravated Domestic Violence, which is a 1-year misdemeanor, and torture.
Court records show Unrein forced the victim to strip naked then tied her to a chair. The reports then says Unrein then made her take pills, drink alcohol an then drink his urine.
The victim also told deputies that Unrein burned her, beat her and threatened her with a knife.
Unrein is at the Emmet County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
