TRAVERSE CITY -- Traverse City Police say they have arrested a man and women for an incident at the Park Place Hotel early Wednesday.

Investigators say the male and female suspect walked into the Park Place Hotel  around 2:30 a.m.intoxicated and broke an ornament on a lobby Christmas tree.

The report goes on to say that when the desk clerk asked them to leave, the male suspect grabbed the female clerk and assaulted her.

Were told three witnesses intervened and pushed the male suspect outside at which time police arrived.

Police say the male suspect started yelling "I don't care if I go to jail, I will kick your ass" and charged the officer.

The officer then took the suspect to the ground and another officer who arrived on the scene helped handcuff him.

The 27 year old Traverse City man was arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct and the 29 year old Suttons Bay woman was arrested for trespassing.
