ELMWOOD TOWNSHIP -- Elmwood Township officials have selected the final design plans for a Leelanau County marina.
After a two-hour-long meeting Thursday night The Elmwood Township Marina committee voted six to zero on a "preferred design plan" for the future marina.
Some of the plans include a separate fishing cleaning station, centralized "harbor master" buildings to serve the boat launches and positioning of the main marina building close to the proposed fishing pier.
