Bank officials and investigators are working closely to determine the exact amount taken.

LUDINGTON -- An investigation into a bank embezzlement is underway in Mason County.

Police believe at least one bank employee at the Northwestern Bank at 101 E. Court St. in Ludington is involved.  Based on the initial investigation and interviews, police believe an undisclosed amount of money was taken over a period of time. 

Bank officials and investigators are working closely to determine the exact amount taken.
