Traverse City West's theatre and music students are raising money for their department doing what they know best, a theatrical review.

The revue is completely run by students for students -- with all proceeds from the show going to next years theatre department.

Entitled "Living in the Limelight" students will be singing, dancing, and stunt walking show casing hidden talents not often seen in a main stage show.

Darrin Newstead, a senior at TC West feels lucky that he had the opportunity to be a part of such a great program. "We do have professionals come in, I was a part of the Three Musketeers and we had an actual maestro come in that does professional movie sets to help us learn how to sword fight and stage combat and even some of our characters. This is just kind of to help that keep going, so the grades below us can have the same experiences we've had with theatre."

The revue will be this Friday December 16th at 7:30pm at the West Senior High School auditorium. Suggested donations will be taken at the door. For tickets you can call the box office at 231-933-7509.
