Donation jar thefts
WEXFORD COUNTY -- He was caught on tape, now the Northern Michigan man accused of stealing donation jars from the Children’ Miracle Network in Cadillac and Haring Township may be caught in real life. The man seen in security footage taking the jar, and walking out to his car is suspected of stealing the jars from several locations. The Cadillac Police Department says they received an anonymous tip after releasing the photos to the public. That tip lead them to a home where police saw the man and his vehicle. The suspect is being questioned about this and other possible crimes, and it is expected that charges will be sought through the Wexford County Prosecutors Office.
