TRAVERSE CITY -- A woman who pled guilty of embezzling more than $1 million from Munson Healthcare could spend nearly 4 years in prison.
Susan Morrison was sentenced today in federal court to 47 months behind bars. She must also pay back the $1.1 million dollars she took. As an accountant for Munson, Morrison transferred money to a bank account for her former business "The Great Lakes Bear Factory" between 2007 and April of this year.
Some of the money taken came from the hospital's foundation bank account, the account used for donor contributions.
