Missaukee Humane Society

LAKE CITY -- The Missaukee Humane Society says it is in desperate need of donations,volunteers and people to adopt pets.

The society operates a no-kill facility and in the last few months has been inundated with dozens of new animals.

It always is in need of food, cat litter and monetary donations.

Adoption fees for dogs and puppies is $150 and cats and kittens are $50 each.

The Humane Society says the pets up for adoption are spayed and neutered and are up to date on vaccinations.
