This week Phil is bringing Paris to Traverse City and showing us how to make his Frog Leg Provencal recipe.
Ingredients:
6 frog's legs (3 pair)
flour
fresh, chopped garlic
tomato
white wine
Salt, pepper & cajun spices
First, cut legs in half so they're easier to cook. Lay them in pan of flour and sprinkle with cajun spices.
"If you want to do this gluten-free, you can use rice flour," says Phil Murray. Next, Fry up legs in pan. Once browned, use canola oil and drain out excess fat. Add tomatoes, garlic and white wine. Sautee, and serve in warmed dish. Enjoy!
"They were caught this morning on West Bay.... Poor little frogs, but they're very good," says Phil.
If you can't wait until next week to taste another one of Phil's fabulous dishes, head to Phil's On Front in downtown Traverse City.
