Pvt. Jack Diener was killed in combat last week

BOYNE CITY -- U.S. Army Pvt. Jack Diener will be remembered tomorrow at a candlelight vigil in Boyne City.

Kathy Sutton, a family friend is organizing the event says the vigil will be at 7 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park.

Diener was killed in combat while serving in Afghanistan on November 21st.

Stone Funeral home says on its website that a celebration of Jack's life is also planned for Saturday, December 10th at 11am at the Boyne City High School.
