The Grand Traverse Resort lights up the holidays

ACME -- If you're looking for a fun place to shop for the holidays, the Grand Traverse Resort has a lot to see and do this year and is also home to the Festival Of Lights.

J. Mike DeAgostino the public relations manager of the resort is excited about the season. "The big tree in the lobby which is twenty feet tall has all new decorations on it this year. All The ornaments on it are brand new and we're very pleased. It's a good, good looking tree this year."

With about fifty-thousand lights both inside and outside of the resort, it's a great place for the whole family to enjoy this holiday season.

"We invite all the families in the area to come and get their photos take in the lobby. Bring a camera, it's always a good photo-op in front of the big tree. And just to enjoy everything we've got going on. There will be various sales throughout the gallery of shops. Of course Dylan's Candy Bar and the candy is a really, really huge feature", said DeAgostino.

The festival of lights has delighted families for several years and this year is no different.

DeAgostino looking forward to this years locals coming for a visit, "I think it's very elegant and it looks nice. I think it suits the resort very well. I don't think anyone is going to be diappointed with our decor."
