Hunter found with fatal gunshot in woods
MULLETT TOWNSHIP -- The Cheboygan County Sheriffs Department says a hunter died this afternoon while hunting on family property in an area near Woodmansee road in Mullett Township.
The Sheriff says it appears the 34 year old man was hunting alone when he tripped forward on the underbrush which caused his firearm to go off.
He was found by relatives.
No foul play is expected and the victims name is being withheld at this time.
