Cooking With Phil: BBQ Shrimp

Phil Murray, owner of Phil's On Front restaurant in Traverse City, is helping you create some of his favorite dishes in your own kitchen.

UpNorthLive Tonight is featuring recipes each week created by Phil that are sure to make your family's mouth water.

This week Phil is showing us his BBQ Shrimp recipe:

Ingredients:
12 peeled and deveined shrimp
2 TBS. Chopped garlic
3 TBS. Creole Cajun spice
1 Tsp. cracked black pepper
1 TBS. unsalted butter
2 Cups of your favorite beer

In a hot 10-12 inch saute' pan add butter and let it sizzle. Add shrimp mix for 30 seconds.  Add all other ingredients and simmer 10-12 minutes or until shrimp is firm and fully cooked.  Serve with crusty French bread to soak up the juices.
