CADILLAC -- A Cadillac Area Public Schools principal has resigned just days after being put on administrative leave for violating the district's internet usage policy.

Andy Brown, the principal at Forest View Elementary, turned in a resignation letter to the school board on Monday night. CAPS officials are not  giving details about the alleged incident.

The Michigan State Police is investigating, and so far no arrests have been made.

School was closed Tuesday for the opening of firearm deer season, but when students return they'll have a new principal.
