ALPENA -- Two Michigan State Police Troopers pulled a man from a burning car, seconds before it engulfed in flames.

It happened on Genshaw Road around 5:30 Tuesday morning.  Police say the driver suffered from a medical condition and crashed into a tree.

Trooper Alan Burke and Trooper Steven Wallenius heard the man calling for help.  One of the officers was able to pull the man through a window before it burst into flames.

The driver is being treated for his injuries. The police officers were not hurt.
